No dead space for the Olympics

OlympicsLondon landlords are enjoying a boom over the Olympic period with pop up shops, restaurants and events appearing in seemingly ever vacant space available. “Enquiries from landlords looking to lease out their vacant units during the Olympics have risen by 50 percent” said Rosie Cann, our very own director here at Popupspace.

With rents ranging from a few hundred pounds to tens of thousands of pounds per week, pop ups are generally open for up to 2 weeks. Sadly not all those with an empty space will see a big pay day as the London Olympic Organising Committee (LOCOG) has put a ban on non-official sponsors advertising within 300 meters of venues so unless Cadbury, BMW and British Airways are seeking temporary space close to the Olympic Venues then they are out of luck!
