Time to visit G-Shock pop up shop

31st March saw the opening of a new pop up “flash store” in London’s Covent Garden. Casio launched ‘G-Shock West’ at 51 Neal Street with a live street art installation, to celebrate its “passion for the spontaneous creativity of the underground art scene”.

As well as marketing new exclusive lines - including a limited edition collaboration with graffiti artist KRINK – the pop up shop will stock the latest G-Shock and Baby-G styles.   Tim Gould, Head of Marketing for Casio UK, said of the new location:

“The area is a vibrant retail hub and the flash store is perfectly positioned for us to reconnect with our loyal West London following”.

To celebrate the opening of the store, G-Shock is offering customers a 20% discount on their first purchase in store.

Pop up hotels – do the festivals VIP style!

It’s camping, but not as we know it.  Festival goers wishing to avoid sleeping in the mud now have the option to indulge in new levels of luxury. Midlands-based company All About Space has designed “podule” rooms with all the creature comforts and mod cons you will need to party in style this summer.

The 12 sq m podules – which offer all the facilities you’d find in the best hotels as well as some added extras - will be available for hire to well-heeled festival fans for c. £2,000. All About Space is already taking bookings for the major UK festivals, including Glastonbury, T in the Park and Download.
